Job Overview
PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling them correctly.
Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload materials safely.
Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately.
Maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock levels.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating warehouse equipment.
Collaborate with team members to improve shipping and receiving processes.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment is an asset
Familiarity with order picking procedures and shipping/receiving protocols.
Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
Experience with Sage Accounting software an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
