The firm provides a range of accounting, bookkeeping, and advisory services to individuals, businesses, and organizations. Role Description This full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role is based in Fredericton, NB. The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with the preparation of financial statements, and updating accounting software with current information. The role involves supporting accountants with documentation, generating periodic reports, and responding to client inquiries about their financial records. The Bookkeeper will also help ensure compliance with firm procedures and relevant accounting standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience, including experience with HST filings and payroll processing.
Proficiency with accounting software; experience with Sage 50 and QuickBooks Online (QBO) are preferred.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time-management skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
Experience in a public accounting or professional services environment is an asset.
Relevant education in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance (diploma, certificate, or degree) is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple client files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
