Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team for right hand drive vehicle repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, inspections, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles to ensure safety and optimal performance. Experience with dealership procedures, welding, and schematic reading is highly valued. The Automotive Technician will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service by providing reliable and high-quality work.

Duties

Diagnose and repair automotive issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Conduct complex repairs including engine work, transmission servicing, and electrical diagnostics
Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs when necessary
Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair activities
Assist in vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for repairs or upgrades
Maintain detailed records of all work performed for each vehicle
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to dealership or company guidelines

Requirements

310S license - Journeyman
Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably within a dealership environment
Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Knowledge of automotive repair best practices and maintenance procedures
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not required
