Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and executing a variety of events, ensuring that each occasion runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. This role requires strong time management skills and a passion for events and weddings.

Duties

Assist in coordinating all aspects of events, including logistics, wedding party management, guest experience, and problem solving with little supervision
Collaborate with other vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
Ensure a high standard of service for client experience and maximize event success.
Manage event timelines, ensuring all details are executed as planned.

Experience

Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
Familiarity with guest services principles especially in a restaurant or hotel setting is advantageous.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering high-quality results.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong negotiation skills.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10+ hours).
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel to off-site locations may be required.
