Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences
Assess each pet’s coat, skin, and overall health to recommend appropriate grooming treatments
Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition
Communicate clearly with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide professional advice on pet care
Handle pets gently and confidently to ensure a safe, stress-free grooming experience for both animals and staff
Keep detailed records of grooming services provided, including special instructions or health concerns
Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, breed standards, and safety protocols to deliver top-quality care

Qualifications

2 years Professional dog grooming experience is required
Cat grooming experience is preferred
Strong understanding of different coat types, breeds, and grooming styles
Ability to handle animals with patience, compassion, and confidence
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
Knowledge of safety procedures related to animal handling and grooming tools
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
