Summary
This position is a lifestyle. Starting in the spring, it’s possible you’ll be on the road for close to 2 weeks at a time, with plenty of hours to work within the season so if you’re looking for LOTS OF WORK, this is a great opportunity. On days when the weather isn’t cooperating, you will still get hours while focusing on general maintenance & cleaning of the trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants in compliance with Miller Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and contractual HSE obligation for the staff and public are met
- Operate Skip box’s/Monitoring systems while performing painting of new/existing lines.
- Operate Forklifts/Loaders
- Lay out and pre mark on new and existing asphalt, Following plans/drawings
- Set up and take down Traffic control including flagging operations as per OTM book7
- Maintain accurate documentation – driver logs, fuel records, time sheets etc.
- Facilitate healthy work environment
- Maintain/Clean equipment as required and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications

- Excellent team player to work productively in a highly functional team
- Willingness to work assigned day and night shifts
- Ability to travel and extended stays when required

- Ability to perform minor repairs on the equipment are considered an asset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and mechanically inclined
- Previous experience in highway painting and maintenance with knowledge of OTM Book 7 traffic control will be given preference
- Class G License
