Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and components for menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring all food prep meets quality standards.
Cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines, maintaining consistency across all plates.
Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques.
Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining high standards of quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to kitchen safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving processes within the food industry.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities.
