Full job description

Responsibilities are are but not limited to:

Serve guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes
Handle food safely by following proper sanitation and hygiene protocols
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, commercial Dishwasher and dining areas
Follow all food safety regulations and health codes diligently
Support team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Prepare and cook breakfast menu items in a timely and consistent manner
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are maintained
Assist with inventory and stock rotation as required
Work efficiently during busy breakfast service periods.

Experience

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety is advantageous
Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service excellence
Experience working in fast-paced settings with a focus on teamwork and efficiency is highly valued
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be available for early morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ontario Food Handler Certification is required
Must have reliable transportation
