Licensed Millwright (433A) – Night Shift

Compensation: $46.00/hour + $5.00/hour Night Shift Premium
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently hiring a Licensed Millwright (433A) for one of our clients located in the Waterloo Region.
About the Role
· Our client is seeking a Licensed Millwright (433A) to join their Maintenance team on a permanent night shift.
· Reporting to the Afternoon Shift Supervisor, this position is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime
· Respond to equipment breakdowns and production line issues
· Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and optimization initiatives
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
· Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment
· Maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, fans, tanks, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
· Complete maintenance records and preventative maintenance documentation
· Ensure compliance with company policies, OHSA regulations, GMP standards, and food safety requirements
· Participate in cross-training and ongoing skills development initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
· Ontario Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) 433A License
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment
· Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
· Experience performing preventative maintenance
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift
· PLC troubleshooting experience considered an asset
· Exposure to Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems considered an asset
· SMAW and/or GTAW (TIG) welding experience considered an asset
· Experience working with conveyors and automated production equipment considered an asset
Compensation & Benefits
· $46.00/hour base wage
· $5.00/hour night shift premium
· Weekly pay by direct deposit
