Work alongside our Marketing team to manage paid search campaigns across 15+ accounts with a combined monthly spend of up to $600,000. About the role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll work with the Paid Search Team, in Marketing, who manages lead generation efforts across the entire 401 Group of Companies , Franchise Automotive Dealerships, 401 Auto Financing, CampMart, and Yamaha. This is a performance seat: you build and optimize high-intent Google Ads campaigns that convert, hold a sharp Cost-Per-Lead (CPL) benchmark, and deliver a consistently positive return on ad spend.
You'll have real ownership, real budget, and the freedom to use AI to scale what works. If you live for generating real sales results, and proving the numbers, you'll fit right in with our 12-person marketing team.
What you'll do
Google Ads & Search Engine Marketing
Build and manage high-intent campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max , all focused-on lead acquisition.
Run deep keyword research, maintain tight negative-keyword lists, and lift Quality Scores to maximize ad relevance and ROAS.
Apply advanced bidding strategies and partner with internal teams and CRM providers to report on true end-to-end conversion results.
A/B test ad copy, extensions, and landing pages to push click-through and conversion rates higher.
Stay ahead of Google's platform changes so lead volume and lead quality keep improving over time.
AI Content & Automation
Work with the team's Marketing Managers and Marketing Coordinators to streamline ad-copy generation and creative asset production.
Implement AI tools to personalize messaging and automate repetitive marketing tasks — so more of your time goes to strategy.
Creativity & Brand
Clearly communicate creative needs to designers to keep lead-gen ads fresh and high-performing.
Follow multiple OEM brand guidelines precisely across both design and ad copy.
Continuously improve the customer journey through smarter ad design and messaging.
What you bring
2+ years managing Google Ads / SEM campaigns, ideally lead-gen focused.
Google Ads certification and hands-on Performance Max experience.
Strong grasp of conversion tracking, GA4, and CRM-based reporting.
A track record of hitting CPL targets and positive ROAS.
Comfort using AI tools to scale copy and creative production.
Sharp communication and the discipline to follow brand guidelines.
