At Exhale Therapy, we believe a strong team creates a strong clinic. We are an independently owned counselling practice in Kitchener, Ontario, with a team of over 30 diverse, experienced clinicians offering evidence-informed therapy across a wide range of approaches and specialties.

What You'll Do
As a Registered Therapist at Exhale, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, supporting clients through a range of presentations with care, professionalism, and clinical integrity. You will work within a collaborative team environment while maintaining autonomy in your clinical work, supported by strong systems, referrals, and administrative infrastructure.
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families
- Support clients presenting with trauma, relationship challenges, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more
- Develop thoughtful case conceptualizations and treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes
- Participate in consultation opportunities and team collaboration
- Offer daytime, evening and/or weekend availability as part of your schedule
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in alignment with your regulatory body
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a grounded, reflective, and clinically curious therapist who is ready to build meaningful work within a team. You bring training across multiple modalities and feel confident supporting individuals, couples, and families, including more complex or layered presentations.
Strong candidates will demonstrate:
- Training across multiple evidence-based modalities: CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, IFS, EMDR, Gottman Method, or similar
- Experience with couples or relationship therapy (EFT, Gottman Method, or similar is an asset)
- A trauma-informed, inclusive, and culturally responsive approach to care
- Strong skills in case conceptualization, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach aligned with clinic values and systems
Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Registered and in good standing with OCSWSSW or CRPO (RP or RP(Q))
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy
- Professional liability insurance (minimum $5,000,000 CAD)
- Minimum 15 to 24 clinical hours per week; some evenings and weekends required
- Ability to provide both in-person and virtual sessions
