Capital Projects Coordinator, Parks Infrastructure Position Overview
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is currently inviting applications for the part-time position of Capital Projects Coordinator, Parks Infrastructure to perform a range of tasks including supporting parks infrastructure, operations, project management work and activities, as well as the coordination and oversight of design, tender and construction processes, primarily within the Parks Division within the Community Services Department. Compensation and Benefits
We have what is being called one of the very best compensation and benefits packages that are out there. Immediately upon hire this position includes an additional $3.05 per hour cash-in-lieu of benefits, offers pro-rated vacation at 6%, and pro-rated sick leave. After 30 days of employment the wage rate will then expand to include an additional 5% in lieu of statutory holiday pay. The SCRD also provides for eye exams and eyewear, on a pro-rated basis, for the hours worked and offers free confidential counselling services through an Employee Family Assistance Program.
The Capital Projects Coordinator, Parks Infrastructure is a bargaining unit position with a wage rate of $48.43 per hour (under review). This part-time position is expected to consist of up to 17.5 hours per week.
