Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in the loadbank/generator sales/rental business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, account management, and technical product knowledge with gensets and loadbanks. This role involves cultivating new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs across Canada and the USA. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering industry leading expertise and service.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities and expand market share within assigned territories.
Provide accurate quotes/contracts for sales/rentals and be willing to provide technical replies to any questions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaborate with Outside sales to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness.
Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions.
Provide technical expertise during sales presentations, addressing client questions related to product features and applications.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for growth.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
Support customer service initiatives by ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams.

Skills

Proven experience in generator and load bank sales.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
Business development experience with a track record of expanding client portfolios.
Account management expertise ensuring long-term customer relationships.
Technical sales experience with an understanding of product specifications and applications.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines.
Customer service orientation with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
