Role Summary
Imagine starting your day with a view of Lake Rosseau, working in a serene spa sanctuary, and helping guests melt their stress away, all while being part of a world-class luxury resort. You will be reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness
Accountabilities
- Perform massages from the menu of spa services following steps of service as outlined in department training
- Analyze areas of concern for the guest and provide suggestions on stretching or avoidance of certain movements in daily activity
- Complete guest medical form, ensuring to add notes to returning guests, and focus on areas of concern
- Follow room set-up requirements and ensure sanitation procedures are met between services and at the end of the shift
- Assist in escorting guests to room and to waiting area for other services
- Conduct tours of spa for guests as requested
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program
- Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Registered Massage Therapist designation (must be in good standing)
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience (spa or resort setting is a bonus!)
- A passion for wellness, hospitality, and helping people feel their best
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting and pulling
