Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth operation during busy service hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the food industry while honing culinary skills and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
Cook and assemble dishes efficiently during service hours, ensuring quality and presentation
Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Support the kitchen team in meal prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure timely delivery of orders to the dining area while maintaining high standards of quality
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for staff and guests

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Flexibility to adapt to different tasks as needed during shifts
Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, or restaurant operations is highly desirable
A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional food quality

Pay: From $20.33 per hour
