About the Role:
- Be the face of the service department for Hyundai Pembroke’s service department.
- Ensure all dealership customers receive a consistently exceptional experience
- Enhance organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for ensuring every guest leaves satisfied, exploring opportunities to add value on each visit
- Together with technicians, identify required maintenance and repairs
- Prepare repair orders, enter them into the database system and close orders in a timely manner
- Provide service recommendation to guests including estimating costs
- Perform road tests of customer vehicles to assess customer concerns
- Attend team meetings reviewing team and individual goals and department performance and strategies
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage and communicate coverage and exclusions to customers
- Continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers' publications
- Ensure all work orders are closed daily or in a timely manner
- Maintain any licensing, qualification and certification required by law and the manufacturer
- Ensure that the same exceptional customer experience provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, provincial and local regulations that may affect the service department
- Maintain professional appearance
- Other duties as assigned
About you:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in providing exceptional service to both external and internal customers and always acting with integrity. You have the following qualifications:
- High school or GED equivalent
- Proven track record for setting and achieving performance goals
- Skilled at providing an exceptional customer experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Dealer related systems experience desired but not necessary
- Highly effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License (bonus points for driving manual transmission!)
