About the role

The Customer Account Representative of collections is responsible for making outbound and taking inbound calls to collect and resolve delinquent accounts in order to mitigate further actions. This team member is responsible for upholding desired company image by providing customers with exceptional experience. This team member has contact with customers, as well as other Company departments, repossession agents and outside agencies.

This posting is for a forecasted opportunity projected to start on June 22nd.

There are 5 openings for this role.

This position is classified as NOC 64400.

In this role you will:

Resolve delinquent accounts through effective communication and negotiation
Provide service that meets or exceeds customer expectations
Use sound judgment to determine appropriate next steps
Accurately document activity and manage your time to meet daily goals
Represent GM Financial with professionalism and integrity

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and negotiation ability
Confidence handling customer conversations
Comfort with multitasking, systems, and basic math

Education & Work Experience

High school diploma required
Secondary school or equivalent work experience preferred
Previous call center, collections and/or sales experience preferred
