Active Living Physiotherapy
Since 2005, Active Living Physiotherapy in Peterborough has been providing premiere physical therapy and massage therapy services for people with disabilities, and people with neurological, vestibular and orthopedic injuries. We view ourselves as more than a clinic; we’re a community. Together with our rehab-focused gym, we play a vital role in helping our clients live their most active lives.

As a physiotherapist here, you’ll develop physical rehabilitation programs to help people maximize their function and independence after sustaining a neurological impairment from a traumatic accident or due to progressive disease (MS, Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, TBI, SCI, etc.). You’ll also have clients with vestibular and orthopedic injuries, looking to live more active lives. You will help to develop and oversee some programs and group classes at our rehab gym, working closely with our amazing physiotherapy assistants.
You will be working in an open, inviting clinic and gym. Our atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and we pride ourselves on our client-centered care. We are passionate about assisting our community in achieving fitness and general wellness.
You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team. We have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs working together. Our goal is having an enjoyable and meaningful place to work every day.
The Details
This is a full-time, permanent role, although we have flexibility for someone awesome who prefers to work part-time. Clinic hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00 to 5:00, and Friday 8:00 to 4:00 – no evening or weekend hours.
We believe in offering a compensation structure that aligns with your preferences so we offer the options between an hourly wage that compensates you for both clinical and administrative tasks, or we can discuss a fee-for-service model if that better suits your needs. We work with clients for 30-minute or 60-minute durations. We also offer group benefits, education days and a gym membership on-site at Active Living Fitness Club.
Qualifications
- Physiotherapist with either a provisional practice certificate or certificate of independent practice (registered physiotherapist)
- Experience working as a physiotherapist is an asset; as is any experience working with patients with neurological or vestibular impairments
