Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance and Administration Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting and administrative functions. Your proactive approach will support strategic decision-making, foster financial integrity, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial processes, manage budgets, and drive business development initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including ledger entries, expense tracking, and transaction documentation
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support organizational planning
Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies
Oversee cost management strategies to optimize resource allocation and reduce expenses
Support investment activities by providing financial analysis and risk assessments
Lead risk analysis and risk management efforts to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation plans
Assist with business development efforts by preparing financial forecasts and supporting proposals for new projects or partnerships

Skills

Strong expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping practices
In-depth knowledge of financial services, corporate finance, and investment principles
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to develop and monitor organizational budgets effectively
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience guiding teams or managing projects
Solid understanding of cost management techniques and risk analysis methodologies
Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently
Strong analytical skills for evaluating financial data and supporting strategic decisions
