Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Evening/Weekend Dog Walkers to join our pet care team. This flexible position is ideal for individuals who love animals and enjoy outdoor activity. As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for providing exercise, companionship, and care to dogs during evening and weekend hours, ensuring they are happy and healthy. This role offers an opportunity to work independently while making a positive impact on pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

Walk dogs according to scheduled routes during evenings and weekends, ensuring they receive proper exercise and attention
Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, medication, or special needs
Monitor dogs’ behavior during walks and report any concerns or issues to pet owners or management
Maintain a safe environment for pets during walks, including proper handling of leashes and equipment
Keep track of walk times and routes accurately for each pet
Provide friendly and professional customer service to pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns with care and professionalism

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
Passion for animals and experience caring for dogs is a plus
Reliable, punctual, and responsible with the ability to work independently
Good physical stamina to handle outdoor walks in various weather conditions
Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety protocols
Friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to foster trust with clients

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
