Full job description

Are you a morning person who thrives on creating memorable guest experiences? Chateau Moncton is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team.

As the first smile many of our guests see each day, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service while ensuring our breakfast area is welcoming, well-stocked, and running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

A passion for customer service and hospitality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. English/French bilingualism would be a STRONG asset.
Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
Previous food service or hotel experience is an asset, but not required

Breakfast attendant duties and responsibilities:

Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards.
Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juices from concentrates
Oven-use for hot breakfast items
Stocking coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers
Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products
Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
Preparing and setting up hot food items
Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day
Cleaning serving equipment.
Restocking reusable food supplies.
Keeping breakfast area clean including removing refuse, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors.
Other duties as assigned.
