Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Fabrication Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding stainless steel metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation.

Duties

Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on diverse metal parts according to detailed blueprints and schematics
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble components
Use plasma cutting tools, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment to shape and modify materials
Conduct rigging operations to lift, position, and secure heavy metal parts safely during fabrication processes
Operate forklifts, and other machinery to move materials efficiently within the workspace
Measure dimensions precisely using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices; perform basic math calculations for quality control

Requirements

Proven experience in welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing; stainless steel work a must
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operation, machining processes, and assembly methods
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments effectively
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
Knowledge of plasma cutting equipment and welding safety standards
Prior experience working with stainless steel
Experience operating forklifts is preferred
Strong understanding of schematics and blueprint reading for precise fabrication work
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance
