Full job description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting a Food & Beverage manager with all aspects of the Playmakers Lounge. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy leading a team, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assists the F & B Manager in their absence with the day-to-day lounge operations through customer experiences, guest service, and daily operations
Support the Manager to select, hire, train, lead and manage staff
Ensure all team members have the necessary tools and equipment to perform his or her jobs efficiently
Oversee lounge to ensure employees are performing jobs to the established standards as set by management;
Maintain a presence on the floor and assist with every position as required in order for the shift to run efficiently;
Ensure Servers and Bartenders and other staff are motivated to perform duties to the highest level of excellence;
Lead, coach, encourage, inspire, train and motivate employees as necessary;
Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints
Receive server and bartender cash-outs making sure each are accurate and correct and securing in drop safe
Scheduling employees in each area of responsibility;
Adhere to all MLCC regulations governing the service of alcohol, that are appropriate to the position and all other government codes and regulations.
Processes guest bills promptly and accurately
Checks the overall condition of the lounge ensuring its readiness and comfort for guests
All other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in restaurants
Serving and Bartending experience
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management
