Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services to passengers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a friendly demeanor, and strong time management abilities. This role offers an opportunity to serve the community while ensuring a comfortable and timely travel experience for all clients.

Duties

Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations promptly and securely
Greet passengers courteously and assist with boarding, luggage, and seating arrangements as needed
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle, including regular inspections
Manage cash transactions accurately and provide receipts when necessary
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during each shift
Keep track of trip details, routes, and schedules to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates or customer requests

Qualifications

Valid class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record
Clean criminal record
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
Strong time management skills to adhere to schedules and optimize routes
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required

Owner operators are welcome to apply.

Pay is commission based. (Please ignore the range provided in the ad).

All shifts are available - days, evenings/nights, weekends.

Willing to help the right candidate obtain a class 4 driver's license.

This position is vital in providing reliable transportation services while ensuring passenger safety and satisfaction. We welcome motivated individuals committed to delivering excellent service in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $14.00-$39.40 per hour
