Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and processing of transactions
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, utensils, and food handling stations in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
Ensure timely delivery of orders, manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
Uphold food industry standards for sanitation, safety, and guest services to enhance overall dining experience

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of the food industry standards
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures including cash handling and basic math skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with food preparation, serving, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service delivery during busy periods
Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest services and creating a welcoming atmosphere
