Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with a focus on quality and precision. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the assembly of high-quality products.

Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
Conduct rigging operations safely when lifting heavy materials using cranes or forklifts.
Assemble components according to design specifications, ensuring accuracy in measurements using calipers and basic math skills.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process, applying mechanical knowledge effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and operating various types of machinery.
Strong mechanical knowledge is an asset.
Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe operation of cranes and forklifts is preferred.
Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
