Job Overview:
McKenzie Health Care Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Your compassion, expertise in patient care, and knowledge of medical terminology will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients, including seniors, individuals in nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for accurate documentation.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license (BCCNM or CLHA)
- Previous experience in senior care, hospital settings, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient care techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Ability to phlebotomize is preferred.
