Job Overview
Immediate hire. Full time hours. housing available! We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our team. This role involves preparing and cooking meals, assisting with food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, experience in restaurant settings, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic food service environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and quality standards
Assist with meal preparation, food handling, and plating
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Support food service operations by assisting with serving customers when needed
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and adherence to food safety regulations
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and meal assembly
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
