Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Technical Sales & Business Development Manager to lead business growth across Western Canada and support expansion into the United States, beginning withTexas. This outside sales role combines technical expertise, relationship management, and strategic business development to grow market share and strengthen customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand Rotator Products' customer base throughout Western Canada and Texas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, contractors, and end users.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive territory growth.
- Provide technical consultation and recommend solutions tailored to customer applications.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Manage customer orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support.
- Maintain ongoing customer engagement to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, including the United States.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline (required).
- Experience in technical sales, industrial sales, business development, or outside sales.
- Knowledge of industrial power transmission products, motors, VFDs, couplings, brake systems, automation products, or related equipment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and application requirements.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a multi-region territory independently.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently, including cross-border travel.

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
