As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Support Technician L2 to join our MSP Corp. Prairies team.
About the Role
As a Support Technician L2, you will be responsible for providing server and workstation support, with tasks ranging from end user assistance, break-fix and application issues through to server/virtual machine deployments, networking, cyber-security, Azure infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 services covering practically the entire Microsoft product stack.
This role includes an after-hours on-call support-shift rotation monthly which may include occasional planned and emergency after-hours support.
Location: Regina, SK
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Work Mode: Remote/Mobile locally
What You Will Do

Triage and resolve escalations from L1; perform advanced troubleshooting (Windows, M365, networks, identity, endpoints).

Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams), including basic security & compliance (Defender for Office 365, DLP/eDiscovery).

Manage AD DS/GPO and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Entra Connect (hybrid identity), Intune (compliance, configuration profiles, app deployment), and Windows Autopilot deployments.

Support virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V) including provisioning, storage, and performance troubleshooting.

Maintain BCDR solutions (e.g., Veeam/Datto), perform test restores, and document RPO/RTO.

Create and maintain SOPs and knowledge base articles in IT Glue.

Participate in a light after-hours/on-call rotation for urgent work or maintenance windows (planned).

Providing excellent customer service skills and the ability to go above and beyond for our clients Infrastructure and configuration troubleshooting

Monitoring network security to detect and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities

Ability to deliver small projects around the Microsoft product stack e.g. Intune, Defender etc.

Potential to visit clients on-site as required

What We Are Looking

3+ years in a multi-tenant, SLA-driven environment.

Azure: 2–3 years hands-on (IaaS VMs, storage/backup, P2S VPN, Entra integration).

Microsoft 365: 3+ years tenant administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) with security basics (Defender for Office 365, DLP).

Identity & endpoint management: AD/GPO, Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect, Intune MDM/MAM, and Windows Autopilot.

Virtualization: VMware vSphere/ESXi (7.x+) and/or Hyper‑V (2019/2022).

Networking: Solid L2 fundamentals (DHCP/DNS/VLANs/VPNs); firewall experience (Fortinet/Cisco/UniFi) preferred.

Experience with ConnectWise Manage/Automate and remote support tools.

PowerShell: Ability to script for administration/automation (e.g., M365, Intune, AD).

Driver’s license & vehicle; willingness to travel locally to client sites
