Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to lead our food & beverage service team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation and safety standards, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service standards are maintained. Previous experience in restaurant or pub management, hospitality, or the food industry is highly preferred.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high food quality standards
Manage cash handling procedures and POS transactions using Micros POS
Help with interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations for staff members
Monitor cleanliness, food safety practices, and compliance with health regulations
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
Assist in pub management tasks such as scheduling, inventory control, marketing and maintaining operational efficiency

Requirements

Proven supervising or team management experience in a food service or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS preferred
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Background in hospitality or hotel industry is a plus
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of restaurant management operations including interviewing, training, and performance management
Experience in food & beverage handling, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, and the food industry is desirable
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
