Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced food service environment, with a focus on teamwork, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Assist in food preparation when needed and maintain cleanliness of workstations.
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards.
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
Knowledge of the food industry, restaurant operations, and guest services is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; a positive attitude towards teamwork is essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop valuable hospitality skills while providing memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
