No two days are the same. One day you could be filming a large commercial construction project, and the next you might be creating content for a business launch, interviewing team members, or developing a social media campaign.
What You'll Be DoingContent Creation
- Visit active construction and business sites throughout Calgary and surrounding areas
- Capture high-quality photos and videos using smartphones, cameras, drones (if qualified), and other equipment
- Film project updates, team interviews, before-and-after transformations, and company events
- Create engaging short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Video Editing & Production
- Edit reels, shorts, promotional videos, and project showcases
- Add captions, transitions, graphics, music, and branding elements
- Organize and maintain digital media libraries
Social Media Management
- Schedule and publish content across multiple company accounts
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages when required
- Track performance metrics and recommend improvements
- Research industry trends and competitor strategies
Marketing & Strategy
- Develop monthly content calendars
- Create a content grid and posting strategy for each company
- Track project milestones and ensure content follow-up on active sites
- Generate ideas for campaigns, contests, and brand awareness initiatives
- Assist with newsletters, website updates, and digital marketing efforts
Technical Skills Preferred
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Canva
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
- CapCut
- Final Cut Pro
- Meta Business Suite
- LinkedIn Business Pages
- Google Workspace
- ChatGPT and AI content tools
Bonus Skills:
- Drone operation experience
- Photography experience
- Graphic design
- Website content management
- Basic SEO knowledge

Requirements:
- Ability to travel to job sites around Calgary
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors occasionally
- Ability to lift and carry basic camera equipment when needed
Position Details
Position Type: Part-Time / Summer Position
Hours:
- Flexible schedule
- Approximately 15–30 hours per week
- Opportunity for additional hours based on performance
