Providing enterprise-wide HR leadership and strategic partnership to the Chief Development Office (CDO) and Pharmacy functions, the Human Resources Director plays a critical role in designing, implementing and accelerating our people plan strategy.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Translate enterprise priorities into integrated people, leadership, and operating model strategies that enable growth, scale, and long term value creation
- Become a trusted advisor to senior leaders, embedding workforce, talent, and change implications into strategic initiatives, M&A, and long range planning
- Lead the end to end people strategy, partnering with leadership to evolve compliant operating models, build critical talent pipelines, manage labour and employee relations risk, and foster a culture of patient safety, ethical practice, and professional accountability through periods of growth, transformation, and integration
- Anticipate future capability and labour risks through data and market insights
- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Talent Acquisition, HR Centres of Excellence and other lines of business on strategic initiatives
What you have to offer:
- Undergraduate Degree in a related discipline
- HR/CHRP designation
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience, specifically in an HR Director role
- Knowledge of both employment law and pharmacy regulations
- Strong employee relations and labour relations experience
- Proven success working with executive leaders in a matrixed organization
- Proven ability to provide business partnership and coaching to senior executives
- Strategic workforce planning experience, leveraging data to inform decision making
- Ability to foster relationships and collaborate across many Functions and key stakeholders
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, integrations and divestitures
- Demonstrated experience supporting transformation, operating models, and aligning organizational design to strategy,
- Ability to travel to various locations across Canada (0-20% travel)
- Retail experience is preferred
