Inspector – Kitchen Department
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens (hoods, nozzles, extinguishing agent bottles, triggering devices, etc.).
- Verify that installations comply with fire safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify anomalies, defective parts, or potential risks and recommend the necessary corrective actions.
- Carry out Perform functional tests to ensure proper system operation.
- Produce detailed inspection reports, including observations and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen service team to schedule inspections and meet deadlines.
- Provide quality customer service, clearly explaining inspection results and offering practical advice for system maintenance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and technologies specific to kitchen fire suppression systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen fire suppression systems (an asset, paid on-site training available).
- Good technical skills, ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
- Excellent communication skills communication and customer service.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Rigor in report writing and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license.
