Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Chef to provide personalized culinary services in a private residence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, exceptional cooking skills, and the ability to create customized menus that meet the client’s preferences. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. The Private Chef will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals while maintaining a seamless and discreet service environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals tailored to the client’s dietary preferences and nutritional needs
Plan weekly menus in collaboration with the client, considering dietary restrictions and special occasions
Manage all aspects of food handling, storage, and sanitation in accordance with food safety regulations
Supervise food preparation and ensure quality control throughout the cooking process
Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management and procurement of ingredients
Serve meals in a professional manner, ensuring presentation aligns with high standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Lead and manage any additional kitchen staff or assistants as needed
Provide guidance on food industry trends, hospitality practices, and culinary innovations

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with team management capabilities
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen management
Leadership skills to oversee kitchen staff and coordinate meal services effectively
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus tailored to client preferences
Exceptional attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism
Experience in restaurant management or food industry operations is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
Knowledge of serving techniques to ensure an elevated dining experience
