Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to food safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry.

Duties

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items for cooking.
Support the cooking team by preparing ingredients and assisting with meal assembly as needed.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts.
Follow proper food safety protocols during meal preparation and service.
Assist in setting up dining areas and serving stations when required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic.
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks such as washing dishes or chopping ingredients.
Prior experience in serving or food industry roles is a plus but not mandatory.
