Position Overview
Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is a multi-disciplined construction company offering superior civil, electrical and mechanical services including piping, insulation, scaffolding, and module fabrication. We’re always on the search for exceptional craft candidates to fill our ever-expanding project portfolios. ACSI is seeking experienced Tool Crib Attendant to join our industrial team to support project requirements.
- Return rental tools and test equipment on a timely basis.
- Organization and distribution of trade tools, consumables, and test equipment.
- Inventory control and ordering of trade specific consumables and PPE.
- Control the issuing and return of trade tools and test equipment on a day-by-day basis.
- Assisting Materials group with receiving and identifying their trade specific material.
- Interpreting documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Experience
- CSTS-20 Certificate
- Knowledge of industrial construction techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Strong focus on safety as a core value.
- Proven proficiency in using a laptop
- Knowledge and ability to maneuver in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel is required
- Mechanical aptitude, strength, and manual dexterity.
- The ability to stand or crouch for long periods of time.
- The ability to get along well with others on a work team.
- Proficient communication and reading skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards.
- Knowledge of Inventory control processes and procedures.
- Strong organizational and housekeeping skills.
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
- Must have a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Project: BHP Wet Mill
Location: Jansen, SK
Rate: $47.07 to $51.00 per hour
Overtime: After 8 hours/ day or 40 hours/ week
Schedule: 14x7 (days/nights), 11 hours per shift
Camp: Yes
Allowances: Transportation allowance ranging from $0<85km to $1,406.00>2,000km provided based on approved proof of residency documented submitted
