Job Title: Door Host / Security Officer
Location: Winston’s & The Hotel Senator
Job Type: Part-Time / Weekends

Winston’s and The Hotel Senator are proud staples of Saskatoon’s hospitality and entertainment scene. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and energetic environment for our guests. We are currently seeking a professional and personable Door Host / Security Officer to join our team.

Position Summary

As a Door Host / Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, staff, and property. This position combines security responsibilities with customer service and guest engagement, helping create a positive first impression while ensuring safety standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
Verify identification of patrons as required
Ensure the front entrance and surrounding property remain safe and secure
Conduct regular patrols of the premises
Monitor CCTV cameras and identify potential security concerns
Provide assistance and support to customers and team members as needed
Respond to incidents professionally and de-escalate situations when necessary
Complete detailed incident and shift reports
Promote events and contribute to a positive guest experience

Qualifications & Requirements

Must be at least 19 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous security or loss prevention experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable interacting with the public in a hospitality environment
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
