WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – SASKATOON

Shift: Sunday to Thursday / Friday to Tuesday - 5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Our services include multi-temperature warehousing, distribution, freight and transportation management, pick and pack fulfilment, cross-docking and transloading. A true "one-stop shop" operation, we can handle products from grocery to consumer goods for any company looking to improve their supply chain throughout Canada and from Canada to cross-border and international markets.

About the Team:

Our warehouse team is diverse, fun, and respectful. With safety being our top priority, we work in fast-paced environments that focus on teamwork, work quality, and individual aptitudes for problem-solving and accuracy. The culture of CDS is that we wear many hats and roll up our sleeves to get the work done, regardless of our job title. All SK roles will report directly to the Warehouse Managers based on-site in Saskatoon, with overall corporate direction coming from Richmond BC.

What You’ll Do:

Contribute to a safe and team-friendly work environment while striving for excellent customer service.
Accurately and efficiently pick orders and receive inventory, using electric Material Handling Equipment.
Operate a hand-held RF Scanner, and/or a Voice-Pick Headset.
Inspect all goods upon arrival or departure from the warehouse to ensure quality and food safety standards.
Maintain accurate inventory stock levels and participate in inventory control cycle counts.
Daily loading / unloading of 5-ton and tractor trailers using appropriate equipment.
Safely operate Material Handling Equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible for general cleaning or maintenance.

Who You Are:

Must be available to work on weekends, overtime, and additional shifts as needed.
Picking and loading experience is a strong asset and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Detail oriented and able to maintain high standards of accuracy.
Motivated and able to work in a team environment.
Able to follow and understand verbal and written directions.
Forklift experience is an asset (counterbalance truck, reach truck).
Walkie-Rider experience is an asset.
Prior experience in food products warehousing is an asset.
Able to pass criminal background check.
