Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, POS systems, and effective time management to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Prior restaurant experience is required.

Duties

Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as touch bistro POS
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with legal and safety standards
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and dining space, adhering to food industry standards
Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management
Assist in setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the service areas as needed
Stay knowledgeable about menu items to answer guest questions confidently

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as touch bistro POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle busy environments gracefully
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Experience in serving or bartending roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in developing their skills in hospitality, serving, or bartending roles
