Waterworks Pools & Spas is seeking an experienced customer service or management professional who is interested in developing into a Service Manager role.
This is a full-time hourly position designed as a structured 12-month training and development program. During this period, the successful candidate will learn all aspects of our business, including retail operations, pool and spa products, customer service, service scheduling, billing, workflow coordination, and service administration.
The purpose of this training period is to build a strong foundation of product knowledge, operational understanding, customer service excellence, and leadership capability before taking on full Service Manager responsibilities.
Development & Promotion Path
The successful candidate will work closely with our Retail Manager and leadership team throughout the training period.
Over the course of approximately 12 months, responsibilities will gradually expand to include:
- Customer communications and service follow-up
- Service scheduling and coordination
- Billing and invoicing
- Technician support and workflow management
- Customer issue resolution
- Leadership and operational decision-making
Upon successful completion of the training program and demonstration of strong performance, leadership capability, accountability, and operational readiness, the successful candidate will be promoted to a full-time salaried Service Manager position.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has previous leadership, supervisory, management, or operations experience;
- Understands the importance of customer service;
- Wants to learn the business from the ground up;
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience scheduling or dispatching field teams (asset)
- Comfortable using business systems and software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
