About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Sales Performance & Development Manager is to ensure that every Sales Leader and Sales Specialist is aligned with and consistently executes Revolution Boutique’s Selling Principles.
This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role. You will spend significant time in our stores observing customer interactions, identifying behavioural and performance gaps, providing real-time coaching, and confirming that employees can demonstrate the required behaviours successfully.
You will also conduct working interviews, onboard new employees, support structured development plans, and strengthen the capability of our Sales Leaders so they can effectively coach and reinforce expectations within their own stores.
This position is not about creating presentations, delivering classroom instruction, or offering general encouragement. It is about translating an established selling system into consistent daily behaviours—and ensuring those behaviours produce measurable improvements in customer experience and sales performance.
The Sales Performance & Development Manager will work closely with the CEO, Retail Operations Manager, and People Operations.
What You’ll Do
· Support all five Revolution Boutique locations in Edmonton, Stony Plain, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, and Beaumont
· Spend dedicated time in each store observing sales interactions, coaching employees, and reinforcing consistent execution of our Selling Principles
· Conduct working interviews and assess candidates’ potential for success
· Deliver structured onboarding and initial sales development for new employees
· Ensure new employees demonstrate the required competencies before completing their onboarding period
· Support 30-, 60-, and 90-day development plans
· Identify the behavioural causes behind individual and team performance gaps
· Provide meaningful, direct, and practical coaching in real time
· Demonstrate required selling behaviours and confirm that employees can apply them successfully
· Coach and develop Sales Leaders so they can reinforce expectations and continue developing their teams between visits
· Create and manage development plans for employees requiring additional support
· Document coaching conversations and monitor employee progress
· Distinguish between employees who require greater clarity, practice, confidence, consistency, or accountability
· Partner with People Operations when performance concerns require formal intervention
· Identify broader capability gaps and recommend opportunities to strengthen leadership, customer experience, and sales performance
· Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Revolution Boutique’s onboarding, coaching, and development programs

Experience We’re Looking For
We are more interested in what you have accomplished than where you have previously worked.
You have meaningful experience coaching frontline employees and leaders in customer-facing environments. You can demonstrate how your coaching has created measurable improvements in execution, accountability, customer experience, or business performance.
Your experience may include roles such as:
· Franchise Business Coach
· Field Training Manager
· District or Regional Training Manager
· Multi-Unit Operations Leader
· Business Performance Coach
· Retail Operations Leader
· Hospitality Leader or Trainer
· Sales Performance Coach
· Learning and Development Business Partner
· Leadership Development Consultant
Previous retail experience is an asset, but it is not required. Experience producing lasting behavioural change within a frontline sales or service environment is considerably more important.
This position requires regular travel among all five Revolution Boutique locations. A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are required.
