Full job description

Interested in being part of a team that is vital in getting packages out for shipment? Then come join us as a Parcel Sorter in Victoria,BC

We are recruiting Parcel Sorters for our client in Victoria,BC. This is a part-time, Temporary-to-Permanent opportunity.

You’ll be responsible for unloading all freight, scanning and sorting them to their designated areas to be prepared for delivery.

Current Shift Openings

Full-time, Monday - Friday approx. 2:30pm-6:30pm

full week availability required

Responsibilities

Load and unload freight from vehicles and line haul trailers
Scan, sort and process customer freight
Build positive relationships with team (couriers, lead hands and sorters)
Working with conveyor and roller belts, inside trailers, cargo containers and package vehicles
Accurately scan, count the number of stops on a truck and write all premium products while loading
Adhere to all safety standards in order to perform all tasks safely and efficiently
Other job-related responsibilities will be assigned as needed

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds; stoop, bend, walk, and stand for long periods of time
No experience necessary
Be willing to be subject to a background check; clearance is required
CSA approved Steel Toe Safety Shoes

Are you able to repeatedly lift 70 pounds throughout an entire shift?
Do you have steel toe safety shoes? They must have the CSA green triangle
Are you comfortable and able to work in a fast-paced, physical demanding environment?
What type of experience do you have working in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment?
Are you able to work approx. 2:30pm-6:30pm Monday through Friday each week? (full week availability needed)
