Full job description

We are a small family run business looking to expand our work force. We are looking for induviduals that are motivated, hard working and reliable. Previous experience is an asset but not a must.

Job Summary:
A Landscape Worker is responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces such as residential yards, commercial properties, parks, and gardens. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing
Plant, water, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass
Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small machinery
Install landscaping features such as sod, mulch, gravel, and garden beds
Assist with hardscape projects like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
Remove weeds, debris, and litter from outdoor areas
Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, and property clean-up
Follow safety guidelines and maintain equipment properly

Qualifications:

Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is an asset
Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
Basic knowledge of plants, tools, and landscaping techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license may be required

Skills & Competencies:

Strong work ethic and reliability
Attention to detail
Time management skills
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Work Environment:

Primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
May involve early mornings, weekends, or seasonal work

Salary:

18-22 dollars hourly 40-60 hours per week
