Position Overview
The successful candidate will assist the Driller in the operation and maintenance of surface diamond drill rigs and related equipment. As part of a drilling crew, the Driller Helper will support day-to-day drilling activities, handle physically demanding tasks, and help ensure drilling operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Helpers who show a solid work ethic and the ability to learn and perform at a high level may have the opportunity to advance into a Driller role as they gain experience and develop their skills.

Compensation
- $28.00 per hour
- Overtime paid after 8 hours
- Competitive meter bonuses paid on every pay cheque

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Drillers in the operation of surface diamond drill rigs and related equipment
- Support and take direction from the Driller, carrying out assigned drilling tasks in accordance with company procedures and site requirements
- Complete pre-shift drill inspections and assist with routine maintenance
- Monitor drilling conditions and adjust drilling parameters when necessary to optimize performance
- Work effectively as part of a drilling crew to support production targets and operational objectives
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental standards during drilling activities
- Report equipment issues, safety concern and operational challenges to the Driller and Supervisors
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of surface diamond drilling experience
Qualifications
- Must be a Canadian resident
- Current First Aid certification required before starting on site
- Valid Canadian driver's license is an asset
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work day and night shifts on a rotational schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely in remote camp environments
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced drilling professionals
