Full job description

Job Overview

We’re looking for a sales-minded agency recruiter who can build permanent recruitment business, fill the roles they win, and identify temporary staffing opportunities for our operations team.

This is a true 360 role — business development + recruiting.

Duties

Hunt and win new permanent recruitment clients
Manage and convert inbound leads
Run permanent searches from intake through placement
Proactively source and headhunt candidates
Identify temporary staffing opportunities and hand them to our Operations team for fulfillment
Earn commission on both permanent placements and temp business you originate
Build your own outbound strategy across phone, email, LinkedIn, video and other channels
Use technology, AI and automation to prospect and recruit more effectively

Qualifications

1–3+ years of staffing or recruitment agency experience preferred
Experience with permanent recruitment and candidate sourcing
Understanding of the temporary staffing industry and its operating model
Demonstrated interest or experience in business development and outbound prospecting
Strong knowledge of modern recruiting, sales and prospecting technology
Comfortable with cold calling and developing new client relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a remote environment
Commercially minded and motivated by performance-based compensation

Technology & Sales Enablement

We are looking for someone who uses technology to improve business development and recruitment. You should have a technology stack in mind for prospecting, sourcing, outreach and automation.

This may include tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, Clay, Juicebox, Loom, AI and other sales or recruiting platforms. We are prepared to invest in the right tools based on your strategy and business value.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

Base Salary: $50,000–$55,000
Commission: Uncapped
Target First-Year Earnings: $70,000–$90,000+
Location: Remote within Ontario

The role offers commission on permanent recruitment revenue as well as temporary staffing business originated by the Recruitment Consultant and subsequently serviced by our Operations team.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
