Overview

Join our team as an A&W Cook and become a vital part of delivering delicious, high-quality meals to our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation, cooking, and providing excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and handling, with experience in the food industry or restaurant settings. We value team players who are dedicated to maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in every dish served.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures
Assist in meal preparation, including assembling ingredients and cooking components
Serve customers efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with serving customers and managing multiple orders efficiently is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
