Role Objective:
Operations Coordinator (Logistics Support, Local Yard and Trucking, UI/UX experience) is responsible for coordinating end-to-end operations from production through delivery, while providing structured support on payment tracking and bookkeeping tasks. The position is operations-focused, with financial responsibilities limited to transaction coordination and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Coordination (Primary)
- Track production and logistics schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Coordinate trucking, shipping, and delivery with internal teams and external partners
- Monitor order progress end-to-end, resolving issues proactively
- Provide operations updates for client communication
- Support cross-functional collaboration for a seamless buyer experience
- Ensure shipment readiness, including scheduling, documentation, and cut-off compliance
Bookkeeping & Payment Coordination (Secondary Support)
- Submit and track payment requests linked to shipments
- Maintain invoice and payment tracking records
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable follow-ups
- Verify alignment between orders, shipments, and payments
- Maintain organized financial and operational documentation
Scope Boundaries: This role does not include bank reconciliation, month end closing, or tax/compliance work.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in operations coordination, Logistics Support, Local Yard, Trucking and UI/UX experience.
- Be able to communicate with software developers on continuous internal software improvements.
- Mandarin speaking
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus
- Good to have diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: CA $70,000 – 78,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Final salary confirmed following successful completion of the probationary period.
