We’re hiring a Sheet Metal Shop Fabricator to help produce the custom metal flashings, trims, panels, and components that our field crews install on commercial and residential projects across the Sea to Sky corridor.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys working with their hands, and understands the importance of accuracy, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
You’ll spend most of your time fabricating and preparing architectural sheet metal products, while also supporting shop organization, inventory flow, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

What You’ll Be Doing
Metal Fabrication & Production
- Fabricate custom flashings, trims, coping, panels, and architectural sheet metal components
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately
- Operate sheet metal machinery, brakes, shears, rollers, and associated power tools
- Cut, bend, form, and assemble metal to Raven’s quality standards
- Prepare materials and fabricated components for upcoming projects
- Ensure fabricated products are accurate, organized, and installation-ready
Shop Operations & Organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fabrication shop
- Assist with material handling, receiving, and inventory organization
- Help stage materials and fabricated packages for field crews
- Support workflow efficiency and shop organization systems
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Participate in daily safety meetings and hazard assessments
Field & Industry Knowledge
- Develop an understanding of how fabricated metal components are installed in the field
- Work closely with installers, project managers, customers and supervisors to ensure fabrication accuracy
- Assist with occasional site measurements or field support when required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, roofing, cladding, or related trades
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience operating fabrication equipment and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of architectural sheet metal systems considered an asset
- Valid BC Driver’s License considered an asset
